a woman at work who had 3 girls scout daughters offered that dump cake advice.
she didn't mention anything about icing, tho, and neither did any of the recipes....
my baking skills ain't so good...

yeah, i should have stuck to my original source, rob.
20/20 hindsight...

i think the original dump cake is a can of pineapple chunks a can of cherries and box of yellow cake dumped in baking pan.
the pumpkin recipe involved a bit more ingredients and prep, but still simple enough for a 10 year old to manage by himself.
you scoop it with a large spoon and dollop with whipped cream or ice cream.
some of the recipe have a cream cheese or crème fraîche topping.
NO ICING!
the cake itself was pretty tasty once you'd ice picked your way to it.
the sprinkled fleur de Lys looked nice tho........ :roll: #-o
