I was checking out the cheese section of the local specialty foods store last week when I noticed something very cool. They have a "fear of commitment" cheese basket - a little basket with small pieces of a variety of different cheeses for those of us who would love to try something new but don't want to buy a big hunk on faith and don't want to wait at the busy deli counter asking for samples.

I grabbed some Danish Fontina, Spanish Manchego, and English Huntsman/Stilton mix. The latter was by far my favorite. 8)

Needless to say, I am a fan of this concept. :)

That is really cool, but be careful. I bought a package that contained a bit of five different cheeses quite cheap. Only one was edible, the rest was as far as I'm concerned not suitable for human consumption. Of course I had to buy a pack containing five and you could choose. Which is far better :)

Huntsman/Stilton. Time to pay Het Kaaspunt a visit.
