After my previous success, I decided to have one other of my songs, "Man I'm Gonna Miss Montana", recorded in Nashville. The first, "Get Your Act Together", was a tad expensive, with both a band and vocals. So, this time I had them record vocals over an excellent backing track I used for my version, at about 1/3 the cost of the first one. Whoopee, another winner!
What they came up with is

For comparison, here's my Montana version released years ago. I sent it to the demo studio to show what the lyrics and melody should be. Listen

A bit of background on the Montana song. I visited my cousin in Dillon, MT for 2 weeks in the summer for about a dozen years. Came up with this song as a result. He got to hear my version, but unfortunately not the studio one, since he passed away in late 2020. I think he would have liked it, especially the last verse about a bar in Dillon.

BTW, the backing track for the song was created by the incredible Band-in-a-Box PC program with some additional editing by me.
Watcha think of the pro version?
Hope 2023 is treating you well so far. Stay tuned for some other studio versions. When? When I can get my old "no energy" body enthused for it.

Thanks for listening,
