How does one do this in a post? I tried clicking the Img button and then pasting a url in there, but all I got was the text url, not the image.

You'll have to place or find an image somewhere on the net and specify the complete url here between img tags.

You right click on the image. Select copy image link. Then start a message here and chose IMG. Then on your keyboard select control V.

Dunno guys. Neither Robbie nor Ron's instructions worked for me.

If I right click on an image I do not have the option of selecting "copy image link", just "copy image" or "copy image address". Neither results in inserting an image in my post.

I tried Robbie's system of pasting the complete url of the image between the and that did not work either - I got about 45 lines of code, heh.

It's not a deal breaker, but obviously you guys have success with your methods where I did not.

I have encountered the problem as you describe, with some attempts I've made in the past. But other images act as the others describe. Try again with another image. Not sure what the issue is, but you are not going crazy !!! I had trouble posting the two images below, as you describe. so I went back and right clicked as Ron suggests.. from the drop down menu I chose " copy Image address" and it worked on a second try.

Yep - pasting the image address between [img]and[/img] works. However, if you are trying to do this with an image that is a link then it doesn't work.

I don't have facebook. I limit my online communities to things like the Dijonstock forum, heh.

What facebook offers are groups. You don't have to involve yourself with the "friend" aspect of facebook. You join groups of interest such as the AW group. I'm involved with guitar groups, bass groups, recording groups, buy and sell groups, and a host of things not related to music. It's like an all in one location for all interests.

Yes. Set up a facebook account, but if you don't want to connect with friends or old acquaintances, once you log in, go to groups. Type in the various groups you'd like to join and once you're in, your feed will include threads from each group as they make posts.

Okay, I set up a facebook account under the name Csescky Podgorny. I don't trust or like facebook or any social media platform, but I want to remain connected to the dijonstock faithful, so . . .

The app tells me my membership in the group is "pending". Please don't shoot me down, bro!
