Anyone heard of the Valeton GP-200 guitar fx processor? It's been around a year.

A long time ago, I bought a Helix because I had been a Line 6 guy forever. I'm a slow learner and I do much better with visualization than reading. Anyway, after a few years, I sold the Helix when the Pod Go was released. The Go is a decent kit and I used it mainly with the existing patches simply because, I never was motivated to create one. The way Line 6 structures their building blocks has always been a bit of a challenge for this old man.

I happened upon a youtube video of the GP-200. It looked much easier to program and, it's easier to adjust. When you have an old tube amp, you don't have to mess with bias , hum, sag, etc. You have volume, treble, bass, and mids. That's what the Valeton does. Simple knobs that you adjust just like the real deal, not a bunch of sliders which was over my head. I got mine last night and set it up this morning. Updated it to the latest firmware and I was building a preset instantly. The online software makes it so easy to adjust, but interestingly enough, I was testing the unit direct and was making quick changes with relative ease. I never did that with the Pod Go. Of course that's just me being me.

Pod Go is a great unit. I haven't decided if I want to keep them both or not. But for now, I'll be spending more time learning and playing with the Valeton. There are so many cool ideas Valeton added with this unit. I attached a few photos below. Oh and the price was exceptional! It was $200 less than what I paid for the Pod Go. That's a good thing!
