Don't know it, Mac...but now I would not get a gate unless it had a built in side chain filter.

no side chain.
i has 5 balanced channels.
the fifth is a "smart" channel for narration.
seems to be more of a live tool, but at $30 i thought i might serve as a gate for toms.
probably can't hurt to experiment at that price.
