At approximately 10h14 and 37 seconds this morning, Thursday the 10th of August, 2006, the myth became reality as I took possession of one Les Paul Standard, serial number 00082459.

It is the most beautiful LP I have ever seen...and though I have yet to plug it in, the setup is nothing short of perfect and plays like a dream.

Thank you, Andra, for your diligence, perseverance and above all, your enduring friendship. You are a cut above the rest, and, you were right, in the end it has been worth the wait.

Just came up from the practice room here at work (they have a small room in the basement with a few amps, drums, epiano) and wow...within 5 minutes I had a crowd of a dozen outside the door, so don't ya know I had to do a little show.

Splendid looking guitar David. Not that you should have had to stress for such a long time, but it seems well worth the wait. It shows that Anndra has impeccable taste in fine axes.
