Alrighty then, here's the axe line up for NiceStock. First the family photo (click to enlarge)...

Image

These are the my acoustic ladies...the Martin, the Seagull and the new addition to the family, the 610 Taylor...

Image

This is my favorite axe...bought it not long after DijonStock. God, I love this Strat...

Image

The new Les Paul Studio in gold. I bought this off eBay about the same time I sent Lys the check for the LP Standard...

Image

I don't think I'll ever sell this Epiphone...it plays better than a number of Gibsons I've had in my hands, though by next week there'll be a black Gibson SG alongside of it--bought from this Swiss couple; nice people those Swiss. At any rate, this one sounds good, but plays like a dream; beautiful neck.

Image

This is another new addition to the family...eat your heart out Geno! :D This too I got off eBay...bought it LONG after I sent the check to Lys for the LP Standard. It is really a great guitar...the neck is perfect and the sound is fantastic. It just may budge the Strat as my only love.

Image

Well, what do ya know? Something Lys really did manage to GET OFF HIS ASS AND SEND!!! My beloved Rick MapleGlow. Beautiful instrument to play as to behold. Not for sale. Ever.

Image

Pascal's old Ibanez (who the fook said Ibanez?!) special active bass. Lys loved this one and my son steals it from the live room all the time (knows better than to go anywhere with the Rick though).

Image

And ol' dependable. This thing has seen many miles, but it's a work horse that sounds good.

Image

So, these are my ladies. There's...HEY! Wait a second!! What the fuck is this??!!

Image

An empty guitar stand???

Image

Must be where my LES PAUL STANDARD IS SUPPOSE TO BE :!: :!: :!:

WHARES ME GIRLYBASS, FANNYBAWS :?: :?: :!: :!:

I'm not going to touch any of them.

Ik keep dreaming about concrete flippers...

Pretty Dave, the one I drooled over was sky blue. I haven't seen another like it before. Ric did make this color but I can't document when.

Quite an arsenal...lotta envious folks wonderin' what you do for a livin', DC...do they have a lottery in Nice, or is it just years of collecting? I've got a Tele and an SG, and like you, the SG just seems to be my sentimental favorite...

Hope to hear you play them someday...maybe a stateside "G-stock" will be our chance...also hope that Nicestock turns out to be a real gas...

He's probably like me , once independantly wealthy , now independantly poor from buying gear.

  That's for sure, Geno. Poor as a function of GAS.

As for the collection. No, this is not over years, Bok. I came here some 7 years ago with the clothes in my suitcase...gave everything I had at the time to the ex in exchange for the kids, 10 and 12 at the time.

Wealthy? Hmm. Independant maybe, but wealth I measure in terms of love. In that, I am a very rich man indeed.

As promised, the new addition to the family of fine instruments...

My Black Beauties

Image

This is a Gibson SG Special. However, I think I lucked out...I've played other Specials before and was not all that impressed. But the Swiss people that I bought them from impressed upon me that this was a fine axe in every way, and I'm delighted that they weren't exaggerating. It sounds and plays better then it's sister standing next to her.

Nice axes David. I'm far more interested in how inviting the pool looks though. 8)
