I've recorded certain things exclusively in the right channel while making a song. Then, I burned a CD, listened on my computer, and those things ended up in the left channel. Not a big deal, and could be easily fixed by panning the other way, but strange :)

It sounds quite obvious, but you may have made a mistake plugging the monitor to your G, or the speakers of your audio set - the L speaker in the R output and the other way around.

...or a temporary inversion of the earth's magnetic field made your left and right brain halves swap places.... or maybe the inversion allowed solar winds to hit the earth and your speakers, causing the speakers to invert as well...

This all might well have happened, eh  .

Flush your toilet and check which direction the water flows. Does it flow clockwise or counter-clockwise?

This may not completely answer any questions, but at least you wont be embarrased if you invite company over for a visit.

Inspired, we're just kidding, OK?

I had this vision of you sitting in a car, driving to work... in reverse gear.

Since you're up there in Canada, call Bob & Doug. They'll help you out.

Or is it Doug & Bob?

No...stranger yet, I played the same burned CD on another computer, and everything sounded fine. But I've never had this problem on the first computer, and I've played quite a few burned CDs on it. Must be a one-time bug

Is there a setting that enables you to swap L and R? Sometimes software settings screw up things. No kiddin'!

Not that I know of. And it's never happened before too.
