I'd like to cover Jimi's Little Wing and am looking for someone that would like to lay down drums, bass and even vocals. I don't have a G and am using my Mac. However, I can transfer mp3 or wav files very easily. Would also consider adding a cool keyboard sound if you are interested.

It can still be a G production 'cause someone else can mixdown on the G. That way the only non-G tracks would be my guitar. Nya nya nyanya nya!

By the way, I tune down 1/2 step-eroni just like my good, personal friends Jimi And Stevie do.

As long as you 1/2 step down in concert tune

I like the song, and I've played it often.

I jam once or twice a week with two guys that both work in sales in Ottawa's biggest Guitar shop. So, Little Wing is OFF our set list....lol. So, is pretty much any other song that's on the typical Guitar Store 'Do NOT PLAY' list ( as in Wayne's World ).

We mostly jam original stuff anyways, but I had to laugh. Last night, near the end of the night we were just kind of farting around. Suddenly Pat ( one of the guitar store dudes ) starts playing Stairway to Heaven. I couldn't believe it....lol.

We rocked out on it pretty good. He made us swear we wouldn't tell any of the dudes he works with at the store!

Anyways, Back to Little Wing. I'm too busy right now to commit to the project, but good luck with it. It's a great tune!

Hey, so after stairway, did you guys play 'Iron Man' then 'Smoke on the Water'? I hear they go over well in music stores!

No, but we did play Black Sabbath's Paranoid...lol.

It was, a funny nite of music.

Amazing thing about Smoke On the Water. I bought my 12 year old nephew a Behringer guitar/amp kit for Christmas. Kid has never played guitar as far as I know other than banging on mine the odd time.

First thing he tried to play? Smoke on the Water!

I didn't even know that he had even ever heard the song in his life...lol

I could give the vocals a shot, maybe....with some technical guidance.

Sounds like fun, look me up if you get to scrapin' the bottom of the vocalist barrel.

Still thiking Michel? we really need a drummer. I could do it on my drum machine, but I'd rather have individual players for each part. If you can't that's ok, but we still need someone????
