A very Merry Christmas to all my Dijonstock friends. It has been a long ride since the old days of the AW16G forum. Rob's rescue and resuscitation with the creation of the Dijonstock site, has allowed hundreds of G users to passed through these hallow doors. Some stuck around for years and vanished, others passed though, and a few of us still remain. Why? Because there are some mighty fine people who still grace this stage.

Yamaha may have discontinued the DAW, but people still snatch them up every day. And, while the majority most likely are into computer based recording, those select few, who still prefer the stand alone experience are always welcome here. In fact, anyone is welcome (well not spammers).

May you all have a healthy and happy New Year.

Ron

Merry Christmas to you RZ and all the others here at Dijonstock, especially Robbie who keeps it going. I don't record much anymore, but do check the site daily to see what others are doing.

Ho ho ho,

Season's Greeting to all! (except the Spammers). Hope your first Christmas in the new place goes well Ron. Ralph - I am sure you have at least one more recording left in your bag!

Thanks to Robbie, echoing your praise Ron. I am curious though, did that guy give up on Cheese? ??? :?:

Merry Christmas to all and to all Gesundheit!

Well, I have not made the move to computer-based recording and still depend upon one of my two aw16gs and this honest forum of experts.

I am recording these days and will post new tunes soon (hopefully). I bid all of you the happiest of holidays and hope that you spend time with your families and friends. I will endeavor to do the same. Frohliche Weihnachten, Vrolijk kerstfeest, Feliz Navidad . . . Oscar, how do you say it in Strine?

Randy

Merry Christmas everyone and thank you very much for sticking around.

Thank you for helping the occasional newbie that comes along and thank you for your friendship.

Never will I give up on cheese. Tomorrow I will serve a 7 course Christmas dinner, "Chez Robert", to my family: mom and dad, sis and hub, nephew, the first lady, my little Princesses and me. The final course will be a cheese plate. There will be a veriety of cheeses to choose from. I will most definitely make some pictures of a freshly served plate.

CHEERS !! :) :)

I suppose I'm like many others these days. I stick around here silently reading once a month. I pick up my guitar once a month and I turn on my G a few times each year just to see if the lights still glow. They still glow.

Robbie,
7 course meal? Photos please! This we need to see!

Merry Christmas to you, Ria, and family.

The Christmas theme desktop !!! did we miss that last year?

Is this the same picture? I don't recall from the past the hockey players on the pond . But then again one hockey game blends into the next for us Canadians.

this is actually a very authentic picture of Canada!! We all play hockey and we all love Canadian Cheddar Cheese. there are no snowmans in the picture. we don't like snowmen here in Canada. If it wasn't so cold we would say they are all full of hot air. One thing you can say about a snowman though is that they sure do have a lot of balls.

Happy new year to you all.

Its been a while since my last visit, which was Dec 27 2015. I'm still playing and recording music but mostly on the computer with lots of new stuff as IR and reactive load boxes. The days i had the AW16G and later the AW1600 seems ages ago, good to read some of you still use it. It was a great period and learned a lot on this forum. Sharing music was so rewarding those days and i still have the first CD with all our music on it :-) Now everyone is making music and puts it on YouTube or other music platforms. Crazy times!

Cheers guys!

Milo

Hey Milo. Happy New Year. You mentioned IR's. Would that be with the Helix? I've downloaded a large set of freebies and loaded some of them onto my Helix. But I'm not sure I don't mind the stock cabs either. Send us some music. Ron

Hi Guys, Happy new year and best wishes to all of you and specifically a good health.

After being immobile for almost two months i'm sitting behind my recording stuff once again wondering if i should have another go at something original. I thought i'd log in to see what's happening here. Glad to see this place is still alive and full of familiar faces. So let's see if i can come up with something.

I notice Robbie is up to his old habits with menus that mention 'exploded cheese', 'rainbow pancakes' and 'Chicken surrounded by bries', not the mention the cheese desert buffet at the end.

Robbie, i'm amazed how your daughters have grown since last i saw them.

Have a nice year gentlemen!

Happy Newyear to you too, Dirk!

So you thought you'd come up with something... you succeeded very well.

Yes the girls have grown. Lotte will turn 16 next month and Janneke is 12 ("and a half, dad!") :-)

Well, mine turns 18 in a couple of days. They do grow up fast. We are looking for university now ...

Wow 18, that goes really fast. How is she doing in school?

Any boyfriend yet?

I hope when Lotte takes home a boyfriend... he can paint. My house needs it. :-)
