It was kind of cool to come back here and see the board still going after all of these years. Jeez, I think I've been signed up since 2003 or so..maybe later? 2007 for my newest acct. Hope everyone is doing ok. I still have a few of our collabs somewhere on my hard drives. Geno/Bok, Fezz. 60's Guy picking up my tune from the pizza restaurant for the comp back in 08, I think. I haven't used my aw16g in years now as I'm doing Mixcraft 7 from Acoustica software, but one of these days I oughtta give the G a spin.

Anyway...

I'm gonna go snoop around for a few mins before retiring for the night.

What's up. Been a while. There's a few still lurking the place. Now that the yammie recorders are gone, less people stop by. Just those who pick one up on eBay and have a few questions. Those glory days where spirited conversations abound, are no more.

Thanks to Robbie for keeping the place alive.

Glad you stopped by.

Cheers! Ron

I figured things got a bit quiet judging from my snooping. I won't flap my arms around since a lot of the piss and vinegar is gone from my bones.

BTW your quote is pretty funny, man!

Robbie captured the whole thing. It was from the original AW16G site. It's on here somewhere.

Hey Joel,

Still pop in now and then myself to see what the old guard is up to... I too have moved on to a DAW...never thought I would do it, but now wish I had done it earlier as the ease of use is spectacular... Still, I get why many love the G and stick with it--- there is something about knobs and faders and such...

I feel the same about DAW's. So easy, and automated mixing, ..I'm finally finishing stuff now. I'll always keep my G close by, it still has a place of value. Good to hear from you, bro!

Welcome back, Joel. Good to hear from you. Yeah, this place has quieted down a lot in recent years.

I'm still using my G because it still works. I will spend my money on other toys until I am forced to spend it on a g replacement. 8)

If I ever start recording again and one of these days I will.....most of what I've forgotten, will be remembered thanks to this forum as long as Robbie keeps it going.

Thanks Robbie!!
