Hi
Its my first time I've done this it not what I was expecting so Just to check that I've got the Midi Settings right I just want to clarify a few things.
The RTZ REV & FF don't make the slave react only the Play & Play Record do, is that right?

If you need to do drop ins on the slave cane you do it as normal, or do you have to vise versa the Midi settings in the Utility?
Or do you have to do it after you transfer the tracks to the master via the stereo outputs? I'm hopeing the later is not right as that would make the recording process damm slow.
Lastly. after you'v saved every thing on both units & unplugged packed up and headed your weary way home, when you reset up, does every thing just sync up as you left it, or are there some tricks.

I'm not in the studio for a wile so any advise would be great so I can think on it.

All the best from down under.

Hi down under :)
I never got the rtz to work but if you press the stop button twice it takes it back to zero.
The rewind and fast forward and record also work fine.
As do the faders and pan controls.
Good luck.

T.

I have a 1600 and 16G connected via midi....but it's been ages since I fired them up. But, i wrote many comments here back when I was actively recording, and if you search the threads...you should find some useful info.

Mr T
Thankx for the tip but didn't work for me, tried doing it on the Master 1600 & Slave 16G.
No biggy though, when I hit Play/Play Rec on the 1600 the right staring point seems good enough on the G although not AZ. Im guessing that number is the delay time for the sync take up on the G.

Another thing on the G it seems things such as Auto punch are disabled when in the slave Midi are connected up. Or Iv'e got something ass about?

All the best from Down Under

Wet Saturday night in Sydney off to a Gig now. cheers
