Hi folks! Hope you might help me on my way here!
So, my AW16g has about 70 sections of "sound collages" that I need to get all together in WAV format for copyrighting. Each sound collage is on a separate "song" and I'm pretty sure that you can only export to WAV one song at a time.
How would you go about doing this? I'm thinking to just put them all on a CD, import the CD into my computer and use iTunes, Windows Media Player or Audacity to make the compilation into a WAV file for downloading to the Copyright office.
If its done this way, would you use Track-at-once or Disc-at-once to make the initial audio compilation? I've put two seconds of silence at the beginning of each one.

Thank you for your time, I'm hoping to get everything I've done for this project copyrighted this week. It needs to be a WAV file that can be downloaded to the Copyright office.

Hi Phil, are you going to copyright individually or as one cd project, if it`s the latter I would put as much on a single disc as you can, as it can save quiet a lot of cash.
Which part of the world are you from? as different copyright laws apply all over, if your in the U.K. you can pm me and I`ll give you the details of the company I use which are extremely good and reputable, and also allow you to upload direct to their site as mp3`s.

Yes I'd load all I could even if it's snippets and do disk at once and call it "a collection". Back in the 70's I wrote 10 or so songs, of little worth, but I recorded them all to a cassette tape, called it a collection of . . . , filled out the paperwork and mailed it off to the copyright office (my email wasn't working back then). A few weeks later, I had a spiffy sheet of paper showing my ownage. Where the paper is I don't know. But if someone steals my song, I'm covered (I think).

footnote - audacity will not import audio files from a (finalized) audio CD. So, a plan to use Audacity to assemble .wav files from an (audio) CD produced in the G's burner would hit a roadblock.

Audacity will convert .wav to mp3 format, but you have to get the file into the platform, and like I said audacity does not import from an audio CD.

Other editors will. I use an old (3.0) version of WavLab when required, but I am sure there are others.

I guess I'm trying to put all of what I've done for this project together as a complilation. I'll do it as a Disc at Once and try some ways to eventually get it into a WAV format.

And that is correct about Audacity. It won't accept Red book format, it must be converted first into WAV, AIFF or some other format first. iTunes will do it and there are a few other converters out there.

Now, I'll just need to clarify how the Copyright will cover it all.
