On April 27, 2003, I signed up at the original aw16g.com forum and became part of an amazing community of music lovers.

That is a kind of birthday, right? It feels like it is.

So... Cheese time! :)

Don't remember when I signed up with aw16g.com, but must have been around that time. Thanks for keeping the "successor forum" going Robbie. It is one of my "must reads" every day! :)

Below your avatar picture it says you joined in 2004. I joined in 2008. For me it was the same time i bought my first guitar...

10 years. We should write a celebartion song and make a collab of it ...

I'm talking about the registration on the original forum (aw16g.com) which obviously was earlier than the registrations here. It was when the original forum collapsed that I registered dijonstock.com and put a forum on it.

For you, Ron, that was Dec 24, 2002. Wow! :)

I'm all for a collab.

I'd be up for a collab. I've never tried to load or send out wav files. This would certainly be a learning curve for me. But bring it on.

And two days later, so today ten years ago, I bought the G. So it's now 10 years old and still 100% functional. :)

A collaboration sounds like a good idea.

I think we got our AW16gs around the same time. I don't think I can say my original is 100% functional :)

It's been more than 15 years now and my G is still 100% functional !! A little dusty and scratched, but... still working! :-)

I still recall the day I first saw the AW16G. I had always used Tascam/Teac recording gear. I had the Tascam digital 8 track with external HD. I never could wrap my head around the unit. After trying two songs, I put it up for sale on Ebay. Once that sold and I saved the money & bought the G. I joined the forum to ask bunches of questions before the purchase. So, I guess is was Christmas Eve of 2002. How cool.

I am forever grateful for this forum, as there is no way I could have sorted through the instructions that came with the AW16G.

Thanks again, everyone.
