After having done this many times, I recently had a problem with this.

Error message was - Illegal Media.
Burned a new one, same message.

Problem - the default WAV file name was longer than 8 characters and had lower case letters. If I recall correctly, you can only use Upper case, numbers, and underscore, max 8 characters.
