So...do you think a reforatting is necessary or is there ANY other ideas you might have...how can I save he pads? I have not used them but would like to keep them just in case....NEVER MINDI think I have this one...I clicked on "PADS" and Voila...they all showed up...I am saving each project everything separately and will reinstall them ONLY AS NEEDED! I will let you know how it goes.

SUCCESS!!! THAT WAS IT...THE BRAIN WAS SCRAMBLED...WHAT LITTLE BRAIN IT HAS. NOW I CAN GET BACK TO RECORDING WITHOUT THE FEAR OF RUNNING OUT OF MEMORY BY REMEMBERING THE SIMPLE TASK OF BACKING UP...DOING WHAT I DO...REFORMATTING...AND MOVING ON. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH.

LESSON LEARNED....NOT FOR THE USE OF STORAGE OF YOUR PROJECTS!!!

Exactly. A production machine is hardly ever suitable for archiving purposes. Besides, backups need to be made anyways, so while you're at it, make two: one archive and one backup.
