For the last two months, I have noticed that the stereo image is not centred when mixing on speakers (as heard) but, as the meters said it was, I presumed I had lost some hearing acuity in my left ear. Today it got the better of me. I put my hand close to the woofers and, sure enough, the left one was not working. I have Truths so I looked around the back and the magic elves had switched the woofer mute switch on. Suddenly my hearing was restored.

A simple solution would have been for me to turn my back to the speakers and I would have found that my "bad" ear had switched sides.

Why am I posting this? Because these things are sent to try us and it might save you some agro one day.

I had the same problem except I had no sound, of course no speakers were switched on at all, the simplest things can sometimes be forgotten about.
I spent 30 mins trying to track down the problem, cables, external gear, volumes etc.

We all have to learn that lesson once.

Except for me, I've learned it dozens of times

I recall one time I went to switch on my recorder and got nuttin. Wouldn't turn on, no lights, no power. Then I realized we had a power outage 15 minutes earlier.

Don't mind me it's Friday and I'm just typing crap.
