Dirk just left the building.

It was short, but it was great. Coffee first, then a "get to know you"-lunch and a little bit of time for some music after that. I think that, musically and philosophically, we have a lot in common. No, not our physical appearance. :)

Finally a little time to fill in my part. To start with the home of the forum was easy to find as can be seen below. You simply can't miss it.

This is not a tricked photo ! This signpost stands about 1.5 K from Robbies house and points in the right direction ! What a coincidence.

Besides finding the right place with no hassle the only problem was lack of time. Robbie has a great familly and next time i think i will bring my little daughter allong so she can play with his adorable kids while we try to make more noise than the kids. I had to leave too soon so i could not really warm up to really play some music so instead i made some noise. I found out Robbie doesn't need warming up to his guitar. I hope that some day i will be able to pick the guitar like he does and i won't have much more to hope for for that matter. I did record about half an hour of us chatting about music and Robbie showing me how to play this and that but i'm not shure it makes an interesting recording except for playing during another meeting with more people in a couple of years that is. It'll be a nice memory.

To conclude i'd like to say Robbie : Let's do this again in the not too far away future but this time i should come a little prepared, that is, we pick a song or two and make a recording that we can post afterwards...

Oh, and next time we should invite Andreas too.

My warmest regards to the familly ...

Hi,

glad you are seeing Robbie as a really smart guy like I did at HamelnStock I. He is a great bass player, what he always deny. Also my bandmates and I noticed that his guitar playing is great when he took a guitar to play "tears in heaven" when he thought noone noticed that. He is very modest, except when it comes to cheese. :D

Would be glad to meet you both to make some noise together in future, in belgium, holland or germany.
You and Robbie are always welcomed at my home and my bandmates are really smart and love to do some jam sessions, no matter how experienced anyone will be. Robbie you remember, what we had done with your Level42-intro?

Andreas
