Has anyone got any good suggestions for specific settings for the aw1600 effects to get a good slapback echo on vocals - i'm after the kind of thing that you hear on some of john fogartys vocals from creedence clearwater revival, or on some of the john lennon solo stuff. kind of a rockabilly sound to the vocals if that makes sense. been fiddling with the aw1600's echo and delay effects and can't really get the sound i'm after. any help appreciated.....

I can't remember who it was, but somebody posted a song of I think his son doing a rock a billy type thing and it sounded great, maybe they'll be along to help. Anyone remember?

Decent feeback below though I think 40 ms gives you more of a doubled sound.

IMHO, I wouldn't tempo sync the delay. You want to hear (barely) the effect. If you sync it, it tends to blend rather than stand out a bit.

Try about 115ms delay. That's what all the old school guys used. Also, mids and lows on the slap back, trim the highs! And a short plate reverb to simulate an intimate club sized room would probably be cool too...
