We are, but since it's out here....

Lys - you and Randy have been butting heads around here for as long as I can remember. I can't for the life of me remember how or why it started - that may well have been before my time. Quite frankly, I don't care.

I do know that the last few times Randy has come around, he has been a gentleman, has made attempts at burying the hatchet with you, and has looked the other way when you've continued to post crap like you just did.

Is there any good reason you can't just give it a rest, for crying out fucking loud?

Pardon me.

I see no reason for Geno and JM to be upset about past tensions between Anndra and me.

I made appropriate apologies a long time ago for anything I may have ever said or written, but I do realize that I shouldn't expect forgiveness or favor in return.

I see no reason for anyone else here to get riled up about that.

If I don't get riled up......no one else should either.

My offer to organize and collate a Comp CD still stands.

Like I said earlier...."I remember my roots".

Robbie was looking for a voulnteer.

I volunteered :dontknow:

Let me know where I go from here.

Yeah or Nay is fine.......I guess.

And I think it's very cool of you to volunteer. 8)

If you're referring to the fact that I maintained a friendship with and supported Pete Young your insult only serves to demonstate how little value you placed on a friendship with Pete.

DO NOT throw that in my face.....ever again.

YOU will lose the debate.

It's my daughter's song and I couldn't resist the opportunity to play bass on it. Perhaps if one of your daughters presented you with the same opportunity you would do likewise.

Your whining has grown old.

Move on to better pastures.

I agree.

I'll leave it to you, Robbie, whether or not music files should be sent to me to collate and organize.

It's your call.

Yeah, I was under the impression that you two "agreed to disagree" and left it at that..I swear I saw it in a thread somewhere during 2007...Hmmmm, maybe my mind is failing me...

2 cents worth: You both are important contributers, hate for either of you to exit...Forgive and forget(and forgetting is the hardest part, but just as important)

anyway...

Thanks a lot for stepping up, 60s! I guess I'm out of the loop and have no idea about the other feelings expressed above, but I definitely like the idea of keeping the forum's spirit alive with another comp CD. Count me in for one new 5:30 tune, which I'll have to you by the Dec. deadline.

And my offer stands to help defray production costs and assist with any writing or copying that needs doing. As a start, I'm willing to send $50-100 upfront if I have a place to send it. I wish I were rich and could send more, but sadly I'm not. I do want to help, though.

I'm really looking forward to hearing what folks here have been putting together lately...

J.

Jog your memory big man - give johnny's a shake whilst you're at it. Maybe Geno could help the pair of you. And spare me the PM shite as well - a cursory glance through some old posts earlier today showed a variety of folk wading in publicly against - well, wid you believe it - 60's.

I'm fucked if I'm forgetting or forgiving. Maybe a dozen times, maybe even a wee bit more - but, twenty, thirty?

Nah - no thanks. Not for me if it's all the same to you.

Which mod said this: "If he (60's) steps out of line again I'll take care of it."

Then didn't.

Jog your memories and spare me the hypocrisy and faux anguish.

Yes. Better than good at that. You know me well enough, Johnny, by now.

Try your memory - if it fails try the search function. If as you say you don't care then ho-hum don't let it bother you.

OK Lys, there's nothing wrong with my memory nor with the mods judgement.

Consider this your first official warning.

Oh, by the way, hi Randy. Your offer is most generous. I wish I had the time and resources to put together a comp CD. Alas, not to be at this point in my life. If you are so inclined, I have a five minute solo song I'd like to contribute. I also have some stuff from my band, but I suspect you'll fill up an 80 minute CD before you know what hit you, so I'll eventually get around to setting up a Soundclick page for that.

I gave Resist a quick listen and must say Joc did a nice job on the vocals.

Very good Robbie - would that make me the first to receive an *official* warning?

And what's the warning for? Are some above question let alone criticism?

Johnny - who said they would boot out the trouble maker if it ever happened again?

Of course it's happened again and the person who asked me to shut it for the over all good - via a promise of action should there be further outbreaks - didn't do as they said they would?

Man of your word eh?

Or just go te hell on.

The crap won't be missed that much.

My memory and search functions both work extremely well.

Maybe I should just shut it - all the site admins/mods and big hitters are weighing heavily 'gainst me.

Or maybe no one gives a flying one as Johnny said - certainly there is zero support for my point of view which is fair enough - I'm big enough to speak for myself.

Maybe even that is no longer a privilege we can enjoy. Is that door shut?

I'm no longer sure.
