Hi gang 1600 SOLD Thanks everyone! MERRY CHRISTMAS.
It's been awhile...Too long. Sad event in my life causing me to sell all music and recording goodies. Mostly local in Oregon but thought of you all to find someone who will appreciate and put my beloved AW1600 to good use. Very lightly used only in my home studio. Well cared for, always covered and in excellent condition. Sad to let it go but to be honest I just don't see ever getting back to playing or recording. My daughter who I had hoped to record and promote and who was my hope and inspiration died suddenly in March. I always said she had a voice like an angel...
So time moves on...

Includes:
* New 120GB Hard drive
* Original Yamaha Power Supply
* Extra long USB cables
* Yamaha User Manual,Professionally printed and bound
* CD's with original restore and tons of other stuff
* Will update list as I find other goodies as I dig through everything.

checking the market it's good to see some interest and a rebound in values. Came across some nice AW1600 units on Reverb here:
https://reverb.com/uk/p/yamaha-aw1600-p ... ng=1386387

They range from $300 t0 $600.

I place mine at the upper end relative to those listings but I'm only asking $350 plus shipping. I'll split shipping if that helps.
Welcome offers, comments, etc
Thanks for looking
Chris
PS: Have tons of pics but not on this computer so will add those later.

UPDATE: I am unable to post any pics in regular or PM posts. Not sure if that is even possible. As long as I've been around here I never actually tried to post pics. I'll keep trying. Oscar if you want I could put them on a website if you have one. I only have google photo but not sure if you can get to it. I'll try that.
thanks
CC
ThanksCC

I do not have need for another AW machine at this time but I express my deepest sympathy for your loss of your daughter. i hope you find the strength you need to go forward and that you will continue to have music in your life. Stay well.

Hi Chris,

Being a father myself I was horrified by your words. It's probably the worst thing that can happen to a man.

I wish you a lot of strength and I hope that in time life will bring you joy again.

Take care.

R

Thank you Robbie
You're right of course. Just when you think you've kinda got a handle on life...Just turned 68 and still learning. Assume nothing. Love those near and dear while you still can.

You know as I look at my original post I'm embaressed that I dumped my pain out on the community. I guess I have always had a good vibe from all the people here and felt comfortable. Anyway apologies for the moment of self indulgence. Lets get past this and move on. Thank you all for the kind words and thoughts.

Now...GET ON WITH SOME MUSIC!
Adios
Chris

No apologies needed, Chris. I think an experience like that is so overwhelming that sometimes all you want is someone to listen.

Making music is always a good idea.
