Hi subsonice, welcome to the forum.

This looks like a sweet opportunity.

Have you switched to a different machine, or PC recording? Just curious. I hope you have not stopped making music altogether.

Good thing you're still making music. Music is chocolate for the soul.

I'm trying to guess who you are (former nickname) but I can't figure it out? :)

Can you do a search to one of your older posts? Maybe you know some key words you used earlier.

If not, welcome anyhow :)

This looks like a good deal folks. All you G owners might consider the step up to the 1600. the added features make the machine a considerable step up, but the learning curve is essentially conquered if you are an experienced G user. The beauty of these machines is they work right out of the box ... no fiddling about.

The hardware format, and the rather limited visual interface through the LCD screen promotes a good balance (IMHO)between time spent listening/tweeking.

That's a great price! I'd buy it myself if I weren't already pushing my wife's kindness and patience to the limit with the recording equipment and instruments that, uh, "magically appear" from time-to-time....she wouldn't shoot me exactly, probably just wing me...

Still, a great price on a great machine! If you've been thinking about buying one of these units, the AW1600's a pretty sweet piece and this one looks to be in excellent shape. Tempt me not!! [-X
