Huge influence and an amazingly accessible icon of the rock/blues world, Jack was only 71 and just released an album. Your sense of mortality really gets a kick in the shins when a guy like this passes.

I'll miss you, Jack Bruce. You weren't done yet...

Ah bok, but Jack had his nose in almost everyones business through his life, from John Mayall to Robin Trower and everyone in between. It was his influence that turned me on to fretless bass as well. Look up his discography, you'll be amazed!
