ya mean the grim reaper?

no, but I just finished recording a very rough cut of a song about the grim reaper called "deeper" by a friend of mine (vox and acoustic) who was visiting from Hawaii...a rare chance to go out in the garage and get something down on tape so to speak.

Maybe I'm just fixating on my own mortality and the fact that my time is not my own(at least around this household---musically speaking)... :(

I saw Richie Havens once at a folk festival in Canada, several years ago. His "Freedom", as intro to the Woodstock album was iconic, for me. So, seeing him live is a highlight of my festival memories. I have attended that festival for 30+ years, and that performance stands out in my mind.
