In Dijon, of course.

David asked me to post these pictures.

A couple of the back garden (back garden? he has no back garden, they dug it all out  ) and another couple of the studio. By the way... Nice floor, David! :D

David, your studio is twice the size of my living room. Can't you adopt me? I'll buy my own food!

Those were BRILL. If my wife and kids see that pool they'll lynch me if we don't make a mad dash down the French motorways on Thursday!

:D

PS Nice floor

Oh Pete, you're just teasing us now! Please, please, please make the trip! I'm sure it will be worth every hard-driven mile. I'll even give up my pitch by the pool!

Pretty please (with sugar on top).

Drum

P.S. nice floor David

So step in the car TOMORROW MORNING... head for Oosterhout, spend the night at our place with your family and drive to Dijon the next day!

Very kind guys but being self-employed at this time of the year I'm so subject to events and people, one of whom has stood me up which is both good and bad. Then there's 5 cats to be looked after!!!

Actually, I've been working REALLY hard for the past month to get ahead of myself. You see I wouldn't want to go anywhere without the family as we've not had time or the wherewithall to spend a holiday. But I would not want land on DC at this late stage with a gang of brats.

However, I've been sitting here working for long days with the occasional sanity-preserving visit to the forum. But don't count on me ...

Hey, this is our micro 'pool' (my daughter has her 'boyfriend' over at the moment! They're both 6 ... cute  ):

Great pictures DC! The flooring does look good.

You'll be needing a bigger swing set for Robbie.

I promised to empty the pool for cleaning after using it.

By jumping in. Once.

David thought I'd drink it all, but David: there has to be beer in it.

David,
Very nice indeed. The floor is great. But, I just didn't see quite enough red. 8)

Greetings Pete. Yes, Memphis is gonna be a scorcher today. Temps around 95 by the afternoon. It's a good day to have air conditioning.

David, I see a red wall. Nice wall. The red couch should be on a yellow wall. Maybe you still have time to paint the wall yellow. The contrast of the yellow wall and red couch will be fabulous. Just don't use a bright canary yellow.

Alright!! DS-2 and Anndra should be here in an hour. And, with the typing of this post, the house is ready. Wow...waaaay overestimated the work! But, I think it's acceptable. Now there is just shopping. I was going to do that today, but the bank I was going to knock over to feed Robbie was closed today. So I'll drag Lys with me.
