Hi T.Mac,

thank you for the kind comments.
The Resonator is a handmade german "Continental"-guitar, a dream ...

Oh, we played a song called "Blue suede wooden shoes" and the song had not been written by Elvis but by a unknown Netherlands cheese loving shoemaker

Andreas

I use a Hudson resonator based on the National `O` with a dropped G tuning sounds really nice.
I thought you and Robbie might have tried playing that well known blues number "clippety clop" by Gordon Zola

I had a great time. Great music, great food, great conversation, slept well, great food again, enjoyed the walk immensely, great food again. That's the Robbie-way! 8) 8)

You got to give me the recipe for the fish pasta, Andreas. It was heaven. xxx <- for Astrid

Oh and what's the name of that swiss cheese I had on the breads this morning? I never tasted that before, delicious doesn't even begin to cover it. Wow!

Thank you very much, A&A !!

Hi Robbie,
Great you liked the weekend.
The cheese was a Swiss made and is called "scharfer Max". The recipe of the fish pasta is so simple. Glad you liked it. Astrid will sent you a mail with the recipe the next days.

The critics about our music had been really positive :-). My Co-workers called me Mr. Blues now ;-)

Thanks Andreas! I'm going to see if I can get my hands on a chunk of Scharfer Max. It was absolutely delicious.

If you can´t find it, I can sent you some cheese to the Netherlands ... :D
The last 3 evenings I cleaned the studio, installed the patch bay, cabled the new rack in a way we can set it up easy and fast in the future and did the sound check. Ready for the band rehearsal tomorrow

BTW: do you took a look to the video you filmed during the gig? Would love to see some clips :)

Heya Andreas,

Just took a look at the video. It's just two minutes or something, most of which during the preparation. I have a problem converting it right now as my Pinnacle installation is damaged... I'll try to be fast.

Howdy there!

Yes, a good set of pictures - the fun is woven in to the images.
