Hi,

@Bok, you will see we made is a lot of "tele-noise"

Had some cheese with the Robbies (a really really nice family!) and everybody jammed with my bandmates. Later we played some acoustic guitars to save Dirk before he was getting deaf :D He is playing an amazing keyboard after he warmed up and Robbie took the bass and like the last time he was playing amazing!

Too less sleep tonight, but hey its HamelnStock
Today we will do some sightseeing, a Raclette meal with lot of cheese and then we do some noise.
Pictures will follow
Andreas

GOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOORNING !!!!

There was only one cheese we knew (Leerdammer) and the other were new to us. I tried them all and they were delicious. No red wax btw. ;-)

I'll try to put up some pics later.

I'm now in my hotel room where we have w-lan internet access. Cool!

Andreas, we'll be with you at around 2 in the afternoon.

Thanks for the pics, Andreas.

Tomorrow in the early evening we will visit for a quick coffee and to say goodbye.

We had an awful lot of fun. The meal was absolutely fantastic Saturday evening. Andreas and Astrid got so much cheese ... it was amazing. Very fine and mild cheeses also, one of them being Leerdammer, one of my personal favourites and totally unexpected in Germany.

More than once Andreas, Dirk and me concluded we could be brothers. In some things we are so much alike it was amazing. Scary sometimes even. And I must say guys like them restore my faith in humanity - a perfect example of how people that are highly intelligent can be kind and totally unselfish in the same time. A breath of fresh air.

I got to play bass again with the band. That was absolutely great. There was a language barrier sometimes, but in playing the communication was so natural! I hadn't played the bass since HSI btw (that is I don't remember  ). I played Andreas' bas which was absolutely fine. I had the feeling I had to work somewhat harder but it was rewarding and the sound was great.

Dirk and I had a few discussions about music from a more technical point of view (as we're both supposed to be techies). He really knows his stuff and, Dirk, don't forget to ask your music teacher that question about frequencies/harmonies. Dirk is finding his way on the guitar after not having played anything for nearly two decades. In the short period between our two meetings I can see he's developing which in fact does not really surprise me as he has a lot of potential on the guitar. Practice, Dirk, and you will be an amazing guitar player in no time. The guitar is your instrument.

The children loved visiting Andreas & Astrid too. Lots of nice toys around the house. They both still keep the child inside of them alive in the best way you can imagine. A thing that I like very much. Astrid had to work during the weekend as she is an english teacher who had to speak english almost thoughout the weekend. Next time we'll try to do more in German.

It was great. In some time we'll do an OosterhoutStock. :)
