I think you forgot about the AWEXTRACT program here Robbie. Is that still on the docs page ? I have used it regularly to transfer backup to the pc and extract the wav's there.

Ah, of course. Silly me.

It's still on the docs page: http://www.dijonstock.com/uploads/docs/AWX266.ZIP

I clicked on your link Robbie and downloaded the Zip file but the Doc file says
that it extracts data from AW2816 and AW4416..I didn't see the AW16g
mentioned anywhere..Every file I tried to convert said it was invalid???

Ah... that was it. I knew I missed a piece here.

The AW extract only supports 2816 formats, not G formats.

Which brings me back to

Hey Robbie,

I got my new "g" yesterday and everything appears to be working great.
You mentioned a couple of times that it would be a good idea for me to change out
the HD with my old machine...
Do you know if there is a posting that goes through the steps or has some helpful hints on how to do that??
There are a lot of screws on this thing and I don't want to take any more out than I have to....

Jim

Yes, you can find something here.

http://docs.dijonstock.com/dissection/stripdown%20-%20Page%201%20of%201.htm

I feel I have to put this in the new environment but that'll take some time.

The page was made by Stickinthemud a.k.a. Bruce Ogletree.
