Our youngest son got a sushi kit from his girlfriend. They wanted to come over and share it with us. I love sushi and have wanted to learn how to make it. He found a good instuctional internet site with video step by step lessons. First we made the sticky rice. Then we cut up the fresh tuna, cucumbers, and avacado. They brought crab meat, wasabi, seaweed paper, spicy red sauce and all the rest of the tools.
We had a blast rolling them. They didn't last much longer than it took to cut them up. The real secret to rolling is to make sure your hands and the knife are very wet. That keeps the rice in place on the roll.
What a fun evening.
