I was going to cook up a turkey for Christmas dinner. However, a few days before Christmas I got miserable sick and wasn't up to cooking, so I tossed it in the freezer and we had a spiral sliced ham instead. I'm gonna cook that turkey tomorrow...complete with stuffing, sweet potato casserole and cranberry sauce.

Just wanted get it done before it got too hot to have the oven on for hours.

Anyway, just thought you'd want to know. Stop on by if you're in the neighborhood - we'll have plenty.

Very interesting. Natalie loves Thanksgiving. Mainly because it's a nice turkey dinner with all the trimmings and involves family. She loves to cook it and can't wait for the holiday season. Not too long ago, I recommended that she consider having Thanksgiving in July and invite friends and family. She thought it was a great idea and we are planning on having 2 Thanksgivings this year.

Mmmmmmmm turkey !!!!!!!! I had turkey breast , mashed taters , and gravy last night. Yum.

Well, the turkey had to wait until Saturday, but it was delicious. Sadly, I was a bit overzealous with my carving, and sliced my index finger up a bit. Kind of put on hold my plans to record a bass line that night.

Nothing much to see, really. It's a pretty minor slice that yielded but a few drops of blood. Sadly, it's right on the tip of my fretting finger - not real conducive to playing the bass for a few days.

Pictures of the turkey would be so much better.

Yep - a little butterfly bandage and a week away from my guitar, and all will be well. At least I waited to do it until after we ate and I was carving the leftovers. Would've sucked having to delay dinner for a little first aid.
