Kester - What an amazing site! As a bass player I can only be jealous that the the other half of the rhythm section doesn't have something this comprehensive.

First thing I did was send a link to the drummer in my band.

Despite the fact there are no disparaging remarks about drummers on the home page that is a pretty amazing site. :lol:

I quickly clicked on Dennis Chambers (my pick for best drummer) and I had no idea he had played with Parliment and Funkadelic! Although I have heard those bands and picked up some CD's with their work to hear some Bootsy Collins my aquantance with Mr Chambers was from my favorite Jazz albums.

Now I understand why I like him so much. Jazz with and underlying thunderous funkified groove. It just does't get any better than that for me!
