May was a busy month - The Kentucky Derby, BTBAM, Tesseract and now this show.

I love Mastodon. Brann is like todays Moon. I know some would get pissed at that, and Im a huge Moon fan. But he reminds me with his business, playing to the lyrics a lot and how it fits in the arrangement. Any way, they did Crack the Skye in entirety and a few other tunes. Badass
Got to love Claudio of Coheed. Energy, polished, attitude, playing. Great visual show as well, with some sweet tunes. Second time Ive seen both bands and they were better this time. Interesting that some dude walked near us with a venue shirt and decibel counter. lol 120 I saw
Very grateful to catch this opener in my city, and the crowd was very cool.
