Saw GNR headlining the night. Hadn't seen them in forever. They were very very good. They played a super long set, and they were spot on.

Some of the previous bands that were fun were the Dropkick Murpheys, who had a raucous time on stage and got the crowd going. The Ice Cube came out and took over te crowd. He went old school and played up to the crowd. Godsmack sounded very good and played a solid set.

I was laid out nice and the weather was great. However it was so smokey with cigs and cigars that it became almost unbreathable.

I think am getting a bit long in the tooth for these outside festivals with 40k people. LOL

Went to a Doobie Bros concert (Dave Mason and Journey as well). Dave is a personal favorite. Anyway, besides the horrific mixing and muddy booming bass, I realized, I am just too old to be with these kids who've never heard of The Doobie Brothers. I've seen so many incredible concerts back in the day. It's just not the same.
