Ron,

See your wow and raise you a dang.

It's late and I just listened to the first three tunes; I'll listen to the rest of the concert tomorrow. How did you find out about this guy? Thanks for the link. Fiddle player kills . . .

Cheers, Randy

Excellent guitarist and fiddle player, I used to like listening to Joe Pass who is probably the daddy of em` all and sadly died about 10years ago, although I do have to admit that 3 or 4 songs in I find it gets a little repetetive, probably is`nt but it starts to sound that way to me :)
Nice upload though.

Great players. Django R. and Stephan G. would be itching to go one up on those guys, but they would have to work pretty hard to top that.

I was on youtube searching around for some various guitar lessons and something popped up about this guy. It wasn't this video, but one that says Bireli does impromptu guitar solo. That got my attention. Then I found this concert. I thought I'd just enjoy it during the week when time permits. I love the fact that he can shread an acoutic with pretty much no trouble whatsoever.

Wow, I'll have to check that out - thanks for the link, Ron. My one experience with him dates back to the early 90's when a friend turned me on to a version of Jobim's "Wave" that he did. I recall hearing at the time that Mr. Lagrene was something of a teen phenom. I'll be curious to see where he's at after all these years.
