Hi Guys. Although it’s been quite some time since I’ve made a post, I still check the forum nearly every day and view all the “active topics”. I’ve been noodling on the guitar for many years, but the AW2400 I bought 4 years ago was my very first legitimate recording device. The information available on the forum and responses and PMs (thanks Byron!) to my questions were absolutely instrumental in me coming to grips with the machine, and I’m very grateful for that.

After about 20 years of playing in cover bands in local clubs, one of my bandmates and I retired from such and started writing our own songs. Once we got a few songs under our belt, we recruited some long-time friends to form a band. We’ve been working out arrangements and doing demos on the AW2400, but are doing the “final” recordings at a buddy’s reasonably well equipped home studio. That situation has come to an end, but that’s another story.

Our band’s name is “Steddy Eddy” and we’ve posted a couple of tunes on our You Tube channel. Hope you get a chance to take a quick listen, and as always, I’d be interested in your feedback.

Good to hear from you.

The Ride video is outstanding! I really enjoyed the images, the musical and the technical production too. A really upbeat tempo and a lot of fun.

Are there others in the works??

Thanks for the kind words Byron. Glad you enjoyed the Ride video. Yes, more on the way. Hope to have 2 or 3 more songs done and mastered by the end of the year. Hope all is well with you.

Hey Blacho,
I saw 'Ride' about a week ago and started sharing it on a motorhome site I visit....really great feel. Just listened to 'Downtime'.....excellent stuff...can't wait to hear more. I see from your videos you've been doing your research
Just got myself a couple of AW2400. I used them during 2010-2013, then went into some analogue gear. The units always sounded a bit more brittle on guitars than tape, but are great units for such a small footprint. I'm going to enjoy getting back into mine.

Thanks for the feedback Al, and for spreading the word by sharing it on the motorhome site! Best of luck with your projects, they sound quite demanding. Look forward to hearing some results.

Nice one Al, I too thought the Ride video was excellent, enjoyed the track very very much, could`nt quite understand why I thought I`d heard something like it before somewhere and at the same time it sounded unique.
Good stuff Al.
Good luck with what your doing.

T.
