Hi guys - does anyone have one of these cheap valve mics and have any thoughts?

Cheers
Alex

Hi Alex,

They're not exactly cheap, specs look OK to me. They're in the same range as the mics I use. When you call this cheap, what are you used to using?

Hi Robbie - sorry - I only meant at the cheaper end for a tube mic - compared with some of the other tube mics i've been looking at: a Rode K2, SE Electronics 2200T etc.

Ha ha - the T Bone would be more expensive than my normal vocal mic which is a Rode NT1A.

I'm looking at a T Bone on ebay - currently at £77 uk pounds with three hours to go and am wondering if its a bargain. new price in the UK seems to be about £160
