Anybody got one? It's the same price as the Trion 6000 which I bought
but returned(open package I think... http://forum.dijonstock.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=9772)

... still thinking about getting another Trion when they're in stock...can't make up my mind...

Suggestions regarding mic for a person with a thinner voice?? Already have an AKG c1000...

anyway.
salud.

Eat six ounces of Gouda, and finish with an ounce of Cheddar. Eat it all in under two minutes. Fat voice guaranteed!

Believe it or not... my cholesterol is too low. :)

But that is not habit... it's genetic.

Exact opposite here Robbie. My cholesterol level without medication is 250+ though I had a very specialized lipids analysis that showed I had none of the deadly, small dense fats in my blood that cause blockages. Even though almost everyone in my mom and dad's families has higher cholesterol, no non-smokers have ever had a heart attack or high cholesterol related health issues.

I'm sure I'll be the first..... DOH!

MOST off topic post ever!

Not to purposely continue the hijack of this thread , but my chlorestoral is very normal. My wife's and father's are off the scale. They attribute that fact to my genetic history , my gental nature , and my above normal cargo of alcohol. :^o

Wadda they know , dad has lotsa eggs everyday for over 75 years........yeah his numbers are high.........but it obviously ain't killed 'em yet.

Looking at the polar and freq charts , freqs are pretty equal. Polars are same-o.

Trion 8000

The only advantage I see is is the m179 has infinitely variable patterns where the Trion has 3 switch positions. The 179 has 5db less boost around 2.5 to 5K.....Hmmmm. the Trion shock mount fits almost any "bottle" type mic.

Can't tell for sure but I have reason to believe the diaphram is larger in the Trion.

yawn
