Hi all,
I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I've been looking for days! Can someone please give me a simple step by step to control Protools LE with the 1600? I've connected via usb, and set the protools to MMC transport, and then selected protools on the 1600 as the template (I think). I can't seem to hit enter and select the protools template, it just sits there highlighted.

I've looked at the manual, but I guess I'm too stupit to figure it out. Need human help! :)

Thanks,

-= Ivan

No expert at this, but is it a midi connection you need to send control instructions to your computer rather than the USB? I am sure someone who knows for sure will be along to set you straight soon enough.

Hi,
I'm pretty sure you can do either USB or Midi. We'll see I guess. I usuallyl have my MOTIF midi'ed up to my DIGI001, so I don't want to go that route if I don't have to.

Hmmm... I just saw something in the manual that say Protools for windows only supports...blah blah blah. It's a list of about 6 control surfaces. The AW1600 shows support for protools for Mac, not windows. Maybe I'm up the creek?

If Protools LE doesn't support midi learn , it might not be possible.

I've been looking hard... not looking good for the windows protools. If anyone finds something let me know. It seems that midi is midi ya know? If it can send it to a Mackie, why not to anything else..????
