y'know what Leo... Behringer equipment has no soul. I'm quoting the dude from that Ozzie Mag.

If you don't mind and aren't listening for it, the Behringer is fine (all my outboard stuff is Behringer), but if you want something distinctive and special. I'd take the Mackie.

There is one on e-bay for 299 bucks. Used once. still in original package.

well, I didn't get it. Now I am looking at the Mackie 1604 VLZ3. Does anybody have experience with that unit?
What about the Behringer Xenyx 2442 Fx?
I know they have no soul :lol: , but maybe they are still usuable?

No soul my ass.............I can afford mixers many times the price but my two serve my limited needs extremly well.

People that badmouth Behringer seem to be of the same astral plane of those that don't like Epiphones , Mexican Fenders , and MXL mics and haven't compared them one on one to their more expensive counterparts.

Whatever......... :roll:

Obviously they haven't discovered or understand the utility of the FCB-1010 , RTA , or the really decent cable tester.
