Hi people.

As promised i start this thread by uploading a project i'm working on. It's a cover in case you wonder. In this mix i'm using my keybaord as i have just learned how to make my own styles by applying the music theory i learned in the past three years. I also figured out how to use a very cool Ipad arpeggiator to enhance these styles to something that starts to sound a bit lively.

I need to redo the vocal as it was recorded in stealth mode at night and i would like some shredding to happen somewhere so something will have to go somewhere. All suggestions welcome of course.

So here goes :

Nice tune Dirk, I agree with you that the vocal needs to be re-done, also on and around 3.01 there`s a stutter on the timing, it maybe the drums I`m not sure.
It maybe could do with a nice acoustic guitar strumming, but that`s just preference.
All in all though it is very easy to hear the progress you`ve been making and that can only be a good thing.
Well done mate.

T.

I have tried uploading 400 MB a couple of times but that does not work. (deja vu) I guess the site times out before the upload. I will separate the tracks and upload them zipped one by one. Probably tommorow.

Tracks have been uploaded.

Now i'm checking why some track numbers are missing in the backup. Maybe they were empty. I'll let you know.

Track 04 is quite horable. I don't think it's of any use ...

Dirk, for future projects you might want to put them in the file exchange section. You uploaded 120 MB worth of files that will stay here like forever... or until someone removes them properly. I'll remove them when your project is finished if that's okay with you.

Hi Robbie.

In the file exchange i know files are deleted after some time. I was under the impression that this is also the fact when files are uploaded on other threads. So that is wrong ?

Feel free to remove them once Byron has downloaded or even before and i'll upload again to the file exchange. Just let me know.

Hey Dirk, ah, I get it. No, in other sections it will remain as it is, because the forum throws the posts away (in the file exchange section) and as a consequence, the attached files will be dragged along into non-existence. In all other sections posts are there to stay (except for Bartman's section) and other members are granted no rights to attach files to a post there.

I'll wait a while and then remove them.
