Hi folks, recently bought joemeek VC6Qcs channel strip. I'm a dad w/ very little "extra"time and am wondering if anyone has familiarity w/ this particular strip and can provide some settings for electric, acoustic guitar(mic'd w/ condenser) and vocals. I know some folks say to listen for what works but unfortunately by the time i get kids to bed it's 10 and that leaves me w/little energy and time. Any sympathetic folks out there that use this piece of equipment. manual provides typical explanations of comp.,eq, etc that I find difficult to translate into a good sound.

Greetings. Totally understand about the kids. Been there done that and now empty nestin'!

Can't find much about your Meek channel strip. Seems to be an older unit and nothing much on google was coming through. Hate to say it, but in the few spare moments you have for music, turn the unit on, plug in an instrument and fiddle around with the settings. Maybe some others more familair with the unit will have some presets they like. Otherwise, enjoy the time dialing around for sounds you like.

Have fun!
