Im trying to get that chunky low pass filter effect that is quite common in a lot of dance music but Im not having much luck. Anyone got any tips on how to achieve it. Ive tried using the effects but its not happening really. I have an mp3 dj mixing software programme on my computer where all I have to do is turn one knob and it makes the effect im looking for very easily but i cant seem to get it right using the G's LP filter.

Ive discovered that the effect I wanted is a band pass filter and im passing the signal through my indigo virus2 which sounds good but im noticing lots of rumble and big fluctuations in the level when turning the cut off from side to side. Do i need to even these levels out somehow?
