It is once again a delight to welcome the Highlander to our humble abode. Here's to two weeks of great music and even better friendship.

My only regret is not also welcoming the rest of the Crew.

We'll keep y'all posted on the next two weeks...so much to do, so much to see.

Awwww, now I'm jealous! I bet you guys will have a blast down there. Are you experiencing the Indian summer we seem to be having hereabouts?

You know you'd be more than welcome, Robbie, or anyone else for that matter.

They predicted sunshine and 28°C. Are there no windows in the French weather bureau?? Cloudy and cool for the moment...but that's okay...they stayed up all night to be sure to catch their ride to be at the airport at 5am, so they're crashing.

First thing Ronnie wants to do is go down to the Pizzaria where we all had dinner. :D

:-k

I've just put my heating on for the first time since early summer - I tried not to but the icicles (spell checker?!?) were getting in the way of my piano.

Great dinner...pizza place is on vacation so we went to the restaurant across the street. Whoa. That was some good stuff. High class French restaurant. Three hours of fantastic conversation...this guy is a brother in the arms of life. Then a couple hours of acoustic jams--looks like more NiceStock Tapes material gonna be happening. And this time I get to play!

Time to crash. But, it's all comin' together. Man I wish the rest of you were here! Robert! We need you something bad, dude!

Dear Ronald and Deborah,

I have a penchant for cheap, tackily designed, tourist-trap coffee mugs. You know the sort - I recently had a friend bring me one from Tossa in Spain that had a lovely graphic of flames on with a stampeding bull in silhouette against this fiery backdrop. To top it all off, the mugs rim was ringed with a delightful fake-gold band.

I understand it cost €1.00 and I'd be really very happy (ridiculously easily pleased as I am) if you could source me something equally tacky and bring it home with you :D

My mug from Spain caused much hilarity amongst friends because it also bore the legend: "Tossa" just beneath the raging, fiery bull motif. Can't think why...but, perhaps a mug reflecting the nearby village of Tourettes might be in keeping with the sort of cheap shots that delight the people I know and care for :D

If you can do it - cheers! If not - I hope you are having a whale of a time ya jammy bassa's!
