Thar she goes...

Image

Took me a wee bitty longer than anticipated what with car crashes and limb failure (cue those violins DC) but I got there in the end with some brilliant personal coaching from DC himself.

Well - calling me at 7am is bound to get action :D

I know I had hoped never to part with this surreal beauty, but needs must and all that.

Enjoy DC!

No way! The schister wanted too much for it...made in Japan no less! New the damn things are about half of what he was asking. Oh, but this is a special made in Japan one. Uh-huh. I ain' fallin' for no banana in ma tailpipe!

New the damn things are about £100 less - and the candy apple red is no longer made and was of a limited run in the first place made to a standard that has frequently seen Fender Japan embarrass Fender US.

It's one of the reasons an early 80's Fender Japan Squier is worth about double it's equivalent Fender US of the same period.

Feel free to buy one of the run-of-the-mill re-issues if you so choose Mr DC, but this Schisters price isn't dropping

:D

Hmm.

The Les Paul is missing - as reported by Parcelfarce moments ago. They have instigated an enquiry as to it's whereabouts and will get back to me within 24hrs.

I'm feckin annoyed, Robbie, and hopefully they will get to the root of this shortly.

Thankfully I paid for insurance - although I'm still pretty positive the guitar will show up.

Although DC's Kilt outfit has arrived in the nick of time so that's going according to plan.

Apart from the real Sgian Dubh they sent - I take I'll have some difficulty getting a metal knife through customs?

You know, Ive used them for years and this is the first time it's went tits up majorly.

The off-handed disinterest from the woman at customer services was terribly British I'll admit. If I'd been transported back to the fecking 70's that is.

I recalled them and the status remains the same - missing in transport, investigative search in progress.

Now, I'm pissed. How much did you insure it for? I sure hope it was for the amount I gave you.

Just make sure you have any contreband not on your person and you'll be fine.

Bringing your microphone stand, MicE? :D

DC - aye, I'm often daft I know, but no that daft so if the worst comes to the worst you'll get all your dough back. You would have even if I hadn't insured it.

They have ten hours to let me know whats going on or they breach another part of the contract. The investigative team must respond inside 24hrs.
