Update - Parcelfarce confirmed the guitar is either in Britain or France.

No - I'm not kidding.

Update - Parcel Farce lost the search.

Yes - you read that correctly - the reason they have not been back in touch to let me know the progress is because they lost the search itself.

Inspiring?

A supervisor' told me that he suspects they have lost the tracking data (no shit) and therefore the parcel will arrive, but could take 14 days to do so - seven gone already. Basically because the parcel is now winging it's way around Europe with nothing to tell the couriers that it is a 48hr delivery with tracking.

God forgive me for swearing at the 'supervisor'. He promised to call me back to let me know where they get to with the 'new' search.

OK - a semi-concret update at last.

The Glasgow hub has been able to confirm it left Glasgow and therefore it's next port of call would be the international hub at Coventry in England.

The procedure for parcels arriving with no labelling is that it would be directed to a section of the hub specifically for lost parcels. They are now conducting a search of the section armed with the description of the parcel as provided by me.

Alternately, the parcel has gone to France from Coventry with no labelling. In this case they don't know why it happened or where it is and have no way of tracking it. Yet they seem ridiculously confident that if it is indeed in France then it is very likely to be delivered sometime next week.

The international hub closes at 5:30 today and I will hear nothing new until Monday morning.

I'm gobsmacked.
