So, finally I've had the OK from my bosses to take some time in July and I've booked my ticket. Flying from Heathrow on the 6th (via Frankfurt) and coming back on the 11th.

It's been a bit touch and go because the big launch of the project I've been working on is on the 13th, but I've managed to reasure them that everything will be ok (fingers firmly crossed behind my back), that and DC's broadband connection convinced them, so Nice here I come.

I won't be bringing any instruments (don't fancy their chances in an aircraft hold), so I hope I can scam an axe or something off someone (find out why they call me 'King of the Ding'!).

Really looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

:sunny: 8)

We'll send the limo for ya at the appointed sign. There'll be someone standing by the baggage exit with a sign that says "Dr. Drum".

Oh, I think we can scare up a guitar and bass or two around here for ya. I'd tell ya hands off the LP Standard, but those would be just empty words...RIGHT FANNYBAWS :!: :?:

Shall I take the cheapo Epi LP Special II with me for ya, so you're on the safe side? There's enough space in the trunk anyway  .

On the other hand... I guess David would mistake it for firewood  .

..or even worse... his firewood would even play and sound better than this guitar  .

Just holler anyway...

Michel

I would never disrespect an instrument...especially an Epiphone which are near and dear to my heart. It was my first real guitar and, if the ex hasn't sold it, it still is somewhere in her closet in the US...somewhere. Besides, the red SG is an Epiphone and it is an EXCELLENT guitar.

Bring what you like, but I have 12 to choose from...girly and otherwise.

Ok, I'll take it down to France and am intrigued about your feedback on it  .
