 Post subject: Rehearsal Recordings.

This is us playing live. The songs were recorded on the AW16g and it's a mix of room mics and direct inputs (I seem to recall - getting old).

What they said. . . Well played, well sung, well mixed. A lot going on, but everything has a good amount of space, so it never seems too busy. I especially liked the New Control.

Thank you! One problem I had was that the bass guitar was very loud in the original recordings, so getting a decent balance was quite hard.

So how did you do it? EQ? fader riding? DYN? The bass was too loud in the room mics I am assuming?

It was eq - the bass was recorded onto the same stereo track as the drums and could not be separated.
