Got everything working peachy. I can run the soft synth on the laptop and the recorder on the other computer now.

Now all I gotta do is make the laptop soft synth work in the keyboard studio.

Now all I gotta do is clean up the mess , carry out the trash and record away. :D

Taking the mess into consideration I would immediately feel at home.

Love the cars.

 That's a $28,000 fan ! We replace them every 5 years or so. I rescued the last two from the scrap bin. I sold the other one on E-Bay for $1600 to a cropduster.

Here's a shot of the notebook running Massive synth. The mount is a microphone stand , music stand hybrid.

I'm heartened to know I'm not alone in the home-wreckage-as-studio model of working 8) =D>

Oh man. My first car when I was 16 was a 1959 Chevy Impala with a 348. Big old sled. And it had enough room for our 3 piece band to travel in....with drums in the back seat.

What's that orange tin can next to the keyboard in the first pic? Looks like canned cheese sticks.

Fried potato sticks? Like skinny, crunchy french fries.

send all those cars to my son Mark, a mechanic and classic car fan  . Keep The Musician's Guide to MIDI - by Christian Braut. I've got it too -- and still don't understand most of it. but I still think it might be a good reference.....some day  .
