My last week of vacation. So i've cleaned up my 'studio' room and finally bought some decent studio monitors which will replace my Magnet hifi speakers :) This beauties are the Alesis M1 Active 620 monitor speakers (see photo). Some good speakers for a reasonable price. Finally i can hear more definition in my mixes and also hear the things i've done 'wrong' in the past. Not that bad but now mixing and mastering will be alot easier i hope :D

Looks cool, Milo.

Using different monitors can really open up your eyes/ears. It's like comparing different wines: by comparing you learn what to look/listen for.

Wish my shrimpy little space was that uncluttered...Like the wall color too. I take it you do all your mixing on the computer now?

Yes, i only use the AW1600 for recording. I mix all my songs with apple Logic Express. Some recordings i've directly done with Logic and plugins but because of the computer size and wires etc. i record on location with the AW :)
